Architecture
From the beginning of our practice we have understood buildings as constituent parts of larger environments. We design buildings to address the special needs of their users and sponsors, and to also serve the communities and wider environments of which they are part. Because a respect for context is such a powerful underlying value of our approach, our buildings are not designed with apriori ideas about aesthetics and form, but are inspired by the specifics of their settings, budget, and programs. The firm’s environmental ethos is also reflected in our integration of sustainable building technologies and expression of environmental purpose in building.
