Coastal Cities Face Rising Seas - Featured in Planning Magazine

Jonathan Barnett and John Beckman's article, Coastal Cities Face Rising Seas, is the featured article in the August/September issue of Planning Magazine. The authors drew on their experience preparing the Action Plan for Rebuilding New Orleans for the Bring New Orleans Back Commission, and other assignments, to assess the danger of sea level rise to major cities in the United States. They assess possible strategies and make suggestions for addressing those concerns in specific cities.
