Daniel Solomon, FAIA

Dan is an architect and urban designer whose 40-year career combines achievements in professional practice with academic pursuits of teaching and writing. He is the founder of Solomon E.T.C., which merged with WRT in 2001, and the principal author of its many award-winning projects. Residential architecture and the interaction between housing and urban design have been the main focus of his work. His commitment to urban repair and the construction and reconstruction of urban neighborhoods extends beyond his project work; Dan was one of the co-founders of the Congress for the New Urbanism, an organization whose principles have shaped the contemporary practice of community design.
