Jonathan Barnett, FAIA, FAICP
Jonathan is an architect, planner, educator, and author of numerous books and articles on the theory and practice of urban design, including the recently published Redesigning Cities. An advisor to key government agencies and to cities throughout the U.S. and abroad, Jonathan has influenced the way cities are designed. He undertakes urban design projects for clients, and is expanding the firm’s role in helping to shape the nation’s urban agenda. Jonathan is also a professor of city and regional planning at the University of Pennsylvania and a board member of the Congress for the New Urbanism. He joined WRT in 2002.
