Blue Ball Diary Barn Awarded LEED Gold Rating
WRT's Blue Ball Dairy Barn project was given an LEED Gold rating by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). This exceeded the project's original goal of a LEED Silver rating.
"This is a great capstone accomplishment on what was a very challenging and rewarding project," said WRT Managing Principal Joseph Healy. "The Blue Ball Dairy Barn is significant as a model for the successful integration and balancing of historic preservation and sustainable design. It is also a model for the successful integration of park design, transportation planning, and economic development to maximize public benefit and leverage infrastructure investments."
