Preparing Land Use Plan in Arkansas
WRT has been selected by Pulaski County, Arkansas and the Central Arkansas Water Authority to lead the effort to prepare a land use plan and related development regulations to protect Lake Maumelle, the key water supply for the capital region of Little Rock. This project builds on the firm's prior work in the region, which includes the campus plan for the University of Arkansas, the redevelopment plan for the adjacent University District, and the master plan for the city's park and recreation system. The team will include the law firm of White and Smith and Randall Arendt for the application of conservation design principles.
