Alexander Morris
Alex's focus is designing dense, walkable, and sustainable affordable housing communities that positively influence their surrounding neighborhoods. As part of the complex projects he designs, he has earned the respect and trust of the housing authorities with whom he works, and is key in winning new work. His commitment to green design, coupled with his dedication to educating clients regarding sustainable practices, has resulted in an ever-increasing commitment from our clients to seek LEED certification for their projects. Since joining WRT in 2003, Alex has served as Project Architect and Project Manager on projects for Pennrose Properties and other for-profit and non-profit housing developers and housing authorities. His most recent work experience includes the completion of a draft master plan for 11 public housing sites for the Charlottesville Housing Authority, and completion of Garfield Court, a 67-unit LEED Silver-rated affordable housing project located in Long Branch, NJ. Alex holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Professional Studies from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
