Brisbane Baylands Multi-Modal Station

WRT's Specific Plan study for the Brisbane Baylands establishes a regulatory framework for future growth and development within a 446-acre portion of a 659-acre fallow landfill site along the San Francisco Bay, just north of the San Francisco airport. The plan proposes to combine commercial development and ecological restoration, using open space as a frame for development, and ultimately improving the tax base for the City of Brisbane. Envisioned as three sub-planning areas,a commerce and entertainment zone, a commercial campus, and a Lagoon area, the site will accommodate 229 acres of commercial retail, office, entertainment and industrial uses and 217 acres of open space (including right-of-ways).
