Camden Hub Strategic Plan

This strategic plan provides a new vision for development for the Delaware Valley,including Camden City and 13 neighboring municipalities. Development in the region has created a pattern of suburban expansion that has contributed to traffic congestion, loss of open space, and urban deterioration. The Hub Strategic Development Plan is intended to encourage beneficial growth and urban redevelopment, promote affordable housing, improve environmental quality, insure cost-effective delivery of infrastructure and other public services, improve intergovernmental coordination, and preserve the quality of community life. The Regional Land Use Management Plan will reflect smart growth and neighborhood conservation initiatives in the context of the goals articulated in the State Planning Act.
