Coyote Valley Vision Plan
This smart growth vision for Coyote Valley proposes an alternative model of development for this 6,800-acre urbanizing area between the cities of San Jose and Morgan Hill. These agricultural lands are intended to accommodate a minimum of 50,000 campus industrial jobs and 25,000 RES units for the valley, and existing plans called for segregated uses. WRT's vision proposes compact development for more efficient and responsible use of the land and balances environmental, social, and economic objectives. The vision was developed on behalf of Greenbelt Alliance, and the project has been recognized with two national awards: a CNU Charter Award and an AIA honor award for Regional and Urban design.
