Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART)

WRT's ongoing work for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system includes station area planning and design for the Northwest Corridor light rail expansion. The future 17.8-mile light rail corridor will connect some of the region's important entertainment, institutional, commercial, and industrial districts. WRT also worked on solutions for eight stations of DART's Southeast Corridor Line. The design for DART's Elm/Lamar Plaza accommodates heavy pedestrian traffic and offers a beautiful civic space that can host a variety of downtown functions. For the Victory Station Pedestrian Plaza, the design creates pedestrian enclaves and introduces planter walls configured to preserve views towards downtown.
