Erie Bluffs State Park Master Plan
This master plan forges a model for future park design and management that embraces principles of sustainability. The 550-acre park will provide extraordinary opportunities for nature-based recreation with a focus on environmental education. Restoration and management actions will ultimately transition much of the site's agricultural lands to meadow lands, old field succession, or forest. Facilities will include boating access, trails, education facilities, camping, and a small inn. Overnight accommodations, the first of their kind in the state park system, were designed as low-impact, financially self-sustaining visitor facilities.
