Haverford School
WRT conducted several projects for this acclaimed independent boy's school. Our master plan for the 27-acre campus created an automobile-free campus core composed of a series of quads, with circulation and parking located on the campus perimeter. New parking, walkways, gathering spaces, entrances, and plantings were added, followed by modifications to classrooms and dining facilities. We designed Haverford's new 82,000-GSF athletic facility, carefully nestling the building into the landscape and balancing traditional and contemporary forms to reinforce the existing campus architecture. WRT also designed the new Haverford Lower School, which helped to preserve and reinforce the pedestrian-focused quadrangles of the campus.
