Santa Monica Beach Improvement Group

WRT and public artist Jody Pinto designed landscape, recreation, and infrastructure improvements to South Beach, a place renowned for its human spectacle. New plantings, redesigned pedestrian and bicycle path systems, new site furnishings,such as signage, pathway lighting, seating, and drinking fountains,link and enhance major activity areas such as Muscle Beach and Chess Park. Design improvements are inspired by the idea of setting a stage for human theater,one that is both sensitive to the breathtaking natural setting and celebrates the multitude of people it has always attracted.
