Bloomington Airport Plan and Sustainability Framework

This plan will be used by the city to guide public and private investment in a 2,350-acre, mixed-use district near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to achieve a model of sustainable development and energy efficiency. A Sustainability Framework integrating land use, urban design, green building, transportation, and environmental indicators is being developed as a basis for city decision-making. With over 60% of the city's development potential located in the district, implementation of the Sustainability Framework's recommendations will allow Bloomington to maintain its competitive edge well into the future.
