The master plan for Boys' Latin Charter High School began as an evaluation of a 2.7 acre site, formerly owned by a congregation that moved as a result of a severe fire that impacted many of the structures on the site. The goal of the master plan was to accommodate the academic program to support the new charter school and its 450 male students in phased developments. Phase 1 called for the convent to be completely demolished due to the extent of the fir-damage, whereas the 45,000 square-foot, classroom building was able to be salvaged through selective demolition and extensive reconstruction. The renovations created 21 large classrooms, combined cafeteria/auditorium and some administrative spaces.
Planned future phases include a middle school and gymnasium to be developed adjacent to the classroom building.
