Cedar Creek & Belle Grove National Historical Park

Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park—encompassing 3,500 acres in the Shenandoah Valley—is one of a few new "partnership" parks in the national park system. WRT assisted the National Park Service (NPS) with developing the park's first general management plan, which guides decision—making as to how the new park's resources will be managed, the experiences that visitors will have, and the facilities that will be provided. Working with the NPS planning team and the park's key partners, WRT facilitated development and evaluation of alternatives, hosted public involvement activities, completed portions of the environmental impact statement, and prepared the plan document.
