Coyote Valley Vision Plan

This Smart Growth vision for Coyote Valley proposes an alternative model of development for a 6,800-acre urbanizing area between the cities of San Jose and Morgan Hill. The agricultural lands are intended to accommodate a minimum of 50,000 campus industrial jobs and 25,000 RES units for the valley. The new vision proposes compact development for more efficient and responsible use of the land and balances environmental, social, and economic objectives. The project has received two national awards, a CNU Charter Award and an AIA Honor Award for Regional and Urban Design.
