The Fraser Centre at State College is an intensive mixed-use development project of an urban block close to the Penn State campus, redefining the State College skyline and transforming the west side of its downtown. The 200,000 GSF building integrates complicated building types into one structure, and takes advantage of site challenges by mediating the scale between campus and broader community. Sustainable aspects include high-performing enclosure systems, a green roof, high-efficiency HVAC system, a water collection tank for irrigation of the green roof, use of regional materials, and low VOC and high recycled content materials for interior finishes.
