Technology Square Master Plan, Georgia Tech

The WRT team was selected to formulate a master plan for the Georgia Institute of Technology for the development of 9.56 acres of land adjacent to the main campus, but separated from it by the barrier of the I-75 / I-85 corridor. The project is part of the ongoing implementation of the master plan and provides much-needed space for the Institute's expanding continuing education and distance learning programs and the College of Management. Together with the development of an adjacent executive conference center and hotel, university office space, as well as retail uses, the development connects the Institute to its broader urban context, establishing a gateway into the campus from the business district and providing key amenities for a whole range of campus users.
