Ursinus College Residence Hall

WRT's design of this new residence hall for Ursinus College is the first step in the school's plan to substantially increase the on-campus student housing offering. The building contains 143 beds in a mix of suites, as well as traditional single and double rooms. Also included are a variety of flexible common spaces, some of which can double as overflow classroom and seminar facilities. The structure was designed to enable construction and occupancy in two separate phases of approximately 70 beds each. The building was guided by WRT's master plan, which ultimately envisions three distinct residential villages on campus. Future phases of the college's residential development will allow approximately 500 new units of student housing to be added in 60- to 70-bed increments over the next several years.
