Broad and Washington High-Rise Condominiums

Philadelphia PA

The Broad and Washington Mixed Use Development was the result of a successful Developer/Architect submission for a key block at the gateway to the Avenue of the Arts in downtown Philadelphia. Designed for phased implementation, the 700,000 SF project includes two public plazas; a black box theater; new, high-visibility facilities for the Pennsylvania Ballet; retail along the Broad Street frontage; and, two floors on Washington Avenue designated for offices and exhibit space for arts and cultural groups. The design creates two environments—a bustling retail, arts and cultural frontage, with quieter, greener settings on the project interior.
