DART NW & SE Corridors Rail Station Design and Planning

WRT teamed with Parsons Transportation and Carter & Burgess for the Green and Orange light rail expansion projects helping to position Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) as a leader in public transit development, in what is the largest public rail expansion project in North America today. WRT was responsible for the site facilities layout configuration and architectural design for 28 light rail stations. Special Planning and design considerations were given to promote open space envelopes encouraging transit-oriented or transit-associated development. Site Facilities were designed to balance the needs of facilities, multi-modal connectivity, and TOD joint opportunities.
