Hayden Harbor Mixed-Use Development

A 15-acre mixed-use project located on the banks of Tempe Town, the Hayden Harbor development scheme created a vibrant, diverse destination point. Capitalizing on the key features of prime waterfront, major interstate location, and access to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, a key strategy was the creation of a contiguous deck at levee elevation, to maximize views and access to the Town Lake and riverfront regional trails. More than 3,000,000 SF of retail, hotel, residential, and office development were included in the project, with 326,000 SF of extensive native specie plaza plantings and accessible green roofs to maximize the retention and reuse of water.
