FDR Park to be Featured at the Sustainability Symposium

WRT’s Charles Neer and Mary Morton will discuss the FDR Park Redevelopment Master Plan at Green Building United’s annual  Sustainability Symposium.

Green Building United’s 2020 Sustainability Symposium will be two days of online educational sessions covering cutting edge green building and sustainability topics and industry best practices.  

Charles Neer PLA, ASLA and Mary Morton, AICP will be joined by Allison Schapker from Fairmount Park Conservancy and Michele Adams from Meliora Design to present “FDR Park: A resilient future for a historic park.” This session will explore nature-based solutions from the master plan that work to balance the park's natural resources, hydrologic systems, and needs of all users through an ecological approach. FDR Park serves as a model for resilient design showcasing low-impact development and green infrastructure projects, adapts to changing conditions, and is unified behind a community-supported vision. 

Registered attendees will be able to view this session and others at any time on October 22 and 23.
