WRT is pleased to share that Richard King has been selected as our next Managing Principal. This transition builds upon Joe Healy's years of dedicated leadership where he made an enduring impact as Managing Principal, and marks an important milestone as WRT continues to evolve.

In this role, Richard will continue to advance our interdisciplinary practice with a renewed focus on shaping meaningful work grounded in environmental justice, equity, resilience, and lifelong learning.

Richard is committed to advancing a collaborative practice. Since joining WRT in 2011, he has been instrumental in shaping our architectural work, placing emphasis on social connection, materiality, and the integration of nature in the creation of inspiring and uplifting places for people.

In addition to his role at WRT, Richard is an artist and educator. His art practice centers on exploring the interplay of shape, geometry, and light. He also teaches at Drexel University in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, where he encourages students to approach architecture as an artistic pursuit grounded in social responsibility.
