Peter Trio

Peter is a landscape designer with 10+ years of experience. He is motivated by the process of evolution and refinement. As a designer, he appreciates the challenges of addressing the needs of a complex world during a turbulent time. Through this lens, he co-founded The Thirdscape Initiative which focused on the succession of our suburban landscapes, so they may evolve towards socially productive, ecologically resilient, and economically independent communities, and was a result of his 2017 Thesis at UC Berkeley. Peter brings the leadership, dedication, creativity and collaborative spirit carried through this initiative to all of his work. He has served as job captain, project manager, and designer on various projects throughout The Bay including several planning projects guided by community feedback and adhering to city plans. His responsibilities have involved detailing of complex and highly integrated landscapes with engineers, architects, and consultants; drafting design documents in conjunction with city planning departments; sketching, drafting, and conducting construction administration.
